Dr. Juneja will present how cutting-edge deep learning methods such as transformers and visual object detection can be applied to capture critical information from technical documents. He will cover two aspects of capturing structured information from well logs and reports: (1) Capture of lithological intervals, their descriptions and classifications, and mapping them to depths, and (2) Capture of  sentences that represent key user-defined sentiments to save time and enable data-driven decisions.
